Integrating multiple Microsoft products including SharePoint Access, Word, SQL Server with other custom products, the California High Speed Rail Administrative Record was a challenge.
All members of the team from a joint venture of consulting agencies had to work together in documenting all activities in the project. Departments of engineering, architecture, public relations, management, environmental and technical staff were brought together to develop the Administrative Record. A SharePoint site was developed to upload documents making up the Record with data entry staff throughout the State. Custom code was written to automatically download all documents, index them in a relational database, and create a court ready document of the Administrative Record within guidelines set by the California Attorney General. Our process was so innovative, the Attorney General changed their guidelines to match our deliverable at an earlier stage.
